Spare ribs

The pork ribs are a row of bones belonging to the rib cage. Meat is found both among the bones and on top of them, with larger amounts on the upper part.

Use and consumption

They are usually cooked on the barbecue. They can often be found marinated (pickled) or smoked.

Defrost

We recommend defrosting slowly and cold, so that the meat retains its optimum qualities. Accelerated defrosting or defrosting without cold conditions is not recommended.
